Pizza with black truffle carpaccio
Ingredients for Pizza dough:
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- ¾ cup warm water
OR Ready-made pizza base
Ingredients for the topping:
- ½ cup tomato sauce
- Shredded mozzarella, cheddar or any cheese of your preference
- Pure Wild's black truffle carpaccio
- Basil leaves or rosemary
Dough Instructions:
- In a large bowl, mix all the pizza dough ingredients until it forms a dough.
- Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and kneed for about 5 minutes until the dough is smooth and elastic
- Leave the dough to rest covered, for 1 hour
- Preheat the oven to 230 Celsius and place a pan or a pizza stone to heat
- Roll out your dough into a tin round shape
- Carefully transfer the dough onto the preheated pizza stone or pan
- Place the topping ingredients on the pizza, starting with the tomato sauce
- Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes or until the crust is golden and crisp
For additional flavour, you can spray Pure Wild's black olive oil spray on the pizza once it’s ready! The smell with impress your guests but why not enjoy it yourself!
